The traditional Stockmann Christmas Window has gone all trendy neo-baroque this year.
How to make unintuitive design: Make a tap look as if it was manual, but actually you put sensors underneath so it's hands free. Then have the head work as temperature adjustment, so it isn't that hands free after all. And you need to put a big sticker next to it to tell people how it works.

An oak sheet went on top of the lowered shelf section, and suddenly I had a new table. Amazing.

Today it was time to get out the more serious tools and transform a tall shelf element into a low and wide one.
Dissasemble a shelf set that goes along the wall and reassemble it at a straight angle. What could be more fun on a monday night.
If these were mountain bike parts they would be called Custom Bent Supports, or Ruffneck Angles, but since they are just some L-braces I molested to keep my shelf/spatial divider in place they will remain nameless.

Booths which were designed as home interiors were definately a trend this year. Last year there was one, now closer to ten. Some snowboard company had set up a dinner table for their boards.
Putting together my lovely Danish futon bed by Innovation, which finally arrived. Big thumbs up for supplying an excellent hex key as well.
