The ferry to Suomenlinna wasn't hindered much by the last of the ice bobbing around. Only had to make two attempts for the shore, as a large chunk was stuck between it and the pier.

Sports fair time again (or GoExpo, as they call it). The tent village, which used to be one of the most interesting things there is getting smaller every year, and many brands were missing. Marmot had an interesting model with tubes around the top for increased indoor space, but that was about it for innovation.

Someone spent time on designing the dispensers for paper towels and soap so they would be out of sight behind a mirror. Then they noticed that nobody used them because of the invisibility, so they stuck ugly stickers on the appropriate spots. Another case of real world vs. design.

The day came to part ways with our Swedish mothership. World economy and grand strategies made it clear that Sweco wasn't very interested in product development anymore. So, taking matters into our own hands, we are now known as LINK Design and Development Ltd. Seems the name was my bright idea, and that's meant a bit of a brand building effort for me lately.
