Off to record user experiences on a prototype in a real life usage situation (in a forest in central Finland) yesterday. By this time we had already been driving over an hour.

Ortlieb Snap
Got the M size to keep the GF1 in. Fits into my bigger Ortlieb bag which I carry daily, and can be attached to the chest strap of my backpacks. No reason not to bring the camera anymore then.

Uspenski Cathedral
Striking a dramatic pose on a foggy evening. Seems I'm only taking pictures after dark these days (great season for that, anyway). Good thing the 20mm pancake goes all the way to F1.7.

Birds
An ominous flock of black birds has been hanging around in the neighbourhood lately. Caught them taking off from one of their favourite trees when coming home tonight.

Restaurant Vespa
Stopped by after work for a chat with Moritz, and ended up sampling the local brew. Taste-wise not bad, but not that special either. Atmosphere-wise the place is much calmer in the afternoon compared to lunchtime, which suits me, and those tablecloths of course adds to the Italian ambiance. Not really a café, though.

More Snow
One very nice feature of the GF1 isn't actually the camera itself, but the included Raw converter: Silkypix Developer Studio 3.0 SE. Never really got around to shooting much Raw before, but this software has me pretty excited. Photoshop has pretty much been put on resizing duty for now.
