The good old Masters of Arts seems to have taken a turn for the better. Some pretty interesting entries from other design related faculties within Aalto University added variety, and overall the level of the works and how they were presented has improved from past years. More in line with exhibiting future professionals, rather than former students, perhaps.
On a side note, MoA time always reminds me of my blogging anniversary. I guess Mobile Observations turned five recently without me even noticing. How time flies when you're having fun.

Some Wagner, Perhaps?
I don't think I've seen so many choppers in close proximity in the air at one time as tonight. 5 or 6 at least. Don't think I was the only one who thought of Apocalypse Now with all the rotor noise around.
Arrival
Yeah, I know I'd need a proper tele. Just doesn't feel right on a tiny GF1 body, though. UPDATE: Noticed someone has added this photo the the Ice Hockey World Champs Wikipedia page. Nice.
Drone
Not sure if the police had this up for crowd surveillance, or if some private citizen managed to hover a camera equipped drone so professionally in the stiff evening breeze? Guessing the former, though. 90000-100000 happy hockey fans might require a watchful eye or two.

Laundry Day
Art project or viral campaign (not much difference sometimes)? But gives the street corner a nice atmosphere.
New Gates in Helsinki Metro
First time to see, and don't even remember reading about these anywhere. Seems like these will be installed on all stations in the near future.

Like a Glove @Nosturi, Emergenza 2011
At the end of the night, 3rd place! Even got a plaquet. Congrat´s!
Like a Glove @Nosturi, Emergenza 2011
Did I already mention how well the GF1 with the 20mm lens behaved? Some cropping in pp made up for zoom. Johanna rocking it.
Like a Glove @Nosturi, Emergenza 2011
That's them. Solid set, not that I had time to look much, except through the camera.
Emergenza!
Kickstart to last night! Emergenza band competition. 15 hopeful setups weeded through a long process of elimination gigs around Finland, and the promise of international venues for the one winner. We were cheering, and shooting for Like a Glove, as usual.
Don't know the guy or band here, but was the second frame I snapped after walking in. After this there were 607 frames more taken, and one 8Gb card full. All with the GF1 and 20mm combo, which worked beautifully in the tough light conditions.

Archipictor Cover
Spotted one of Ossi's covers in the wild again. Pretty prominently displayed at Stockmann, actually.
Beware
Nasty guys working overhead might drop fairly large bricks on you. Consider yourself warned. Designing infographics is hard, I know.
