This is the last post on Japan, so for those who want some chronology I recommend scrolling down a bit.

I actually looked forward to boarding the "new" A340 to Narita and back, but turned out the only one Finnair has at the moment is an old second hand purchase from Virgin Atlantic. The new birds will be delivered starting this summer, apparently. The interior on this one is pretty worn, and today I actually had both a malfunctioning seat back (wouldn't stay upright), and a screen that had a black hole of dead pixels in the middle. Not too impressive.
